Self-supporting air
Die Struktur besteht aus individuellen Zellen, die mit Luft angereichert sind. Die Struktur steht aufrecht, weil die Zellen so nah aneinander gepresst sind. Durch diese Beziehung von Abstand und Luftdruck der individuellen Zellen lässt sich eine Vielfalt von Strukturen bauen.
The structure is made out of individual cells each pressurized with air. The structure stands up through the air-cells placed tightly next to each other. This way any shape can be achieved by using the right air-pressure in relation to the cells and the whole structure.
ETFE Bubble-House
Mit Hilfe von neuen Techniken werden aus dem Material ETFE (- ethelene poly tetra ethelene) aufblasbare Einzelzellen entwickelt, aus denen bogenartige, größere Konstruktionen zusammengesetzt sind.
Diese Techniken werden beim EFTE Luftblasenhaus angewendet. Dabei wird ein Haus, das aus einem hexagonalen Dachgepäckträger eines Autos herauskatapultiert, in dem die Luftzellen durch den Auspuff aufgeblasen werden.
